Meet Our Providers

Taneka Wilborn MSN, APRN,

ANP-BC

Taneka L. Wilborn is an accomplished board certified Adult Nurse Practitioner at Meridian Medical & Associates. She has extensive expertise in performing physical examinations and wellness check-ups for adults and geriatric patients, providing treatment for minor acute injuries and illnesses, and aiding patients with managing and controlling their chronic medical conditions. She is also a seasoned RN/Registered Nurse with over 13 years of service in distinguished military and civilian medical institutions. In addition to providing compassionate and quality care to her patients, she ensures seamless communication among medical personnel teams, fosters and facilitates critical physician collaboration, and mentors nursing and medical staff trainees.  

Ms. Wilborn received critical trauma and emergency medical training at William Beaumont Army Medical Center, before getting her BSN (Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing) and Registered Nursing Degree at the University of Texas, El Paso and her MSN (Masters of Science in Nursing) at South University in Savannah, Georgia. She has been a member of the American Nurses Association since 2010 and continues to be active in the Sigma Theta Tau and the Phi Kappa Phi Honors Society.
